TR please list pubs you frequent...(are they k rough.ohbs thread)?

Just so.i know where to.avoid.

I always used to find one of the advantages of being a female at football matches was that it was one of the few places i didnt have to queue for the loo, or have to fight for sink to wash my hands in because some woman was stood there adjusting her hair and make up. Made a nice change.

Re: Political correctness in the UK
Gender neutral toilets Hahahaha

If only women could see the state of gents bogs in pubs then this would quickly put that nonsense idea to bed.

All covered in piss, snot, shit, spunk and bogeys with a whole bog roll shoved down there with a 20 inch Richard poking it’s head out of the middle and then trying to flush it and it all backing up and overflowing over your heels with a queue of pricks all banging in the door shouting at you to hurry up waiting to get in to key a few bumps of bunk shovel up their hooters.

Yeah, gender neutral toilets, you’re gonna love them ha ha ha ha

comma or we could just be really politically incorrect and get them.to.impersonate Stavros......
hello everybody peeps......etc

MiM i really dont see why its such a big deal ...we have been desexualising the disabled for years and making them.use unisex (gender neutral).toilets. Clearly when it suits us we can do what we want. Truth is we dont have to change things or traditions, but when we have done so who has it really hurt?

I don't think there is any incentive to do science these days. After all you might end up being an expert and be regularly denigrated by Michael Gove.

And god forbid you get involved in the science of climate change because you'll have the likes of infidel to deal with.

Doing science is only a measure of clever for people who are there to make cakes and jam.

Re: Political correctness in the UK
This is how I think it should work: some twenty-something middle class white girl who did sociology at a former poly because she wasn't clever enough to do science, should have the right to self-identify as gender queer native American tortoise called Geoff, and we should have the right to point and laugh at her. Oh, and we shouldn't be left with the bill to fund her shell grafting operation.

Re: Political correctness in the UK
As we are talking about a TFL announcement to make us feel inclusive each announcement should ignore the Ladies and Gentlemen bit and simply begin "Oi listen to this".

Re: Political correctness in the UK
But it's not just "questioning" is it? It's demanding change to suit their feelings. The same argument could be made right back, if it isn't hurting them why should it change just to suit them in the first place? Are the sort of people (who must make up an absolutely tiny minority of the population) who get offended by "ladies and gentlemen" really the sort of people the rest of us should be bending our lives and language round in order to appease?

Re: Political correctness in the UK
bonzo, you might read this'

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intersex

And find the following "If you ask experts at medical centers how often a child is born so noticeably atypical in terms of genitalia that a specialist in sex differentiation is called in, the number comes out to about 1 in 1500 to 1 in 2000 births [0.07-0.05%]. But a lot more people than that are born with subtler forms of sex anatomy variations, some of which won't show up until later in life".

This means that if you take the UK population of the UK as 60M then approximately thirty thousand people are statistically intersex. That is not an insignificant number.

Re: Political correctness in the UK
mim.some peoe will get hysyerical.about certain causes, and they might end up causing debate but these examples tend to be the exception. I dont necessarily think its a bad thing to question our own values and traditions now and then.

Darlo Debs 11:44 Mon Aug 13
Re: Political correctness in the UK
O1BB sex and gender would seem.to be two different things here then. Yes you are born male or female. Gender would seem.to be an ascribed status which some are rejecting.
